Our Story

Who are CUBE?

CUBE (Community United Barry 4 Everyone) is a not for profit organisation set up in 2018, and is made up of 28 community board members with lived experiences, 4 directors, 12 team members and 6 volunteers. We provide individual and/or whole family support all under one roof.

We believe that people, partnerships, and our communities’ matter and that the person with the problem or issue is the best person to resolve it. People are the expert in their own lives; we are here to support them to make changes that are meaningful to them.  Anyone can access our services, whether it’s for a coffee and a chat at our coffee house in The Gallery, pop into our planed drop-in sessions, or to access any of our services ranging from counselling, our local clubs, individual or couples’ sessions, family sessions, education, or training.

Throughout the person’s experience at CUBE (Community United Barry 4 Everyone), they will be allocated a one-person contact/key worker to support or work with them and a community supporter who is a trained volunteer that will help guide and support them within the community.

CUBE purchased The Gallery in its mission to continue in offering free support to the families of Barry and the Vale, each cup of coffee, a pastry, hiring spaces and events, contributes in giving back to the community that needs our support. This is our way of paying it forward on a much larger scale.
